Founder
Matt Smith brings 20 years of experience helping companies navigate complex financial challenges. He began his career as an auditor at EY and spent the past 13 years at a boutique transaction advisory firm, where he specialized in transformational transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, and financing activities. This experience of dealing with his clients' most complex issues allows Matt to spot potential accounting challenges early, minimizing surprises during the audit process.
As a CPA with a strong technical foundation and deep experience reviewing valuation work, Matt is known for bridging the gap between valuation and accounting to deliver a seamless, aligned process. Clients value his ability to distill complex issues into practical, actionable guidance—and his commitment to making the technical feel manageable, empowering them to move forward with clarity and confidence.
